5 Problems People Encounter Whilst Renovating a Bathroom

Many of us sigh when we utter the words, ‘renovation’. It can be a mammoth, time consuming task. We continually put this concept on the back-burner due to reoccurring problems that seem to surface during this process. This article will look at the top five problems people can encounter whilst undergoing a bathroom renovation and how you can deal with them effectively. A bathroom renovation should be an exciting time!

1. Storage

You need to make sure you have enough room for all your products, towels etc.! Clutter is the last thing you need or want whilst transforming your bathroom interior. Smart storage will ensure that there is place for everything, resulting in a happier bathroom.  Vanity drawers offer a useful, stylish solution and heated towel rails add a nice finishing touch.

2. Make sure it’s waterproof!

Another common issue that people come across whilst renovating a bathroom is a leaking shower and this is an expensive problem to fix due to the damages it causes. Do it right the first time to avoid this costly mistake.

Or alternatively you could save yourself a lot of hassle and Multipanel it…now there’s a thought ;)

4. Don’t squeeze it all in!

Planning is absolutely crucial when designing a bathroom. Make sure you don’t overcrowd your space. Poor planning can lead to costly mistakes and an unsatisfying end result. Research, research, research. Maximise your space to ensure that you get the most out of your bathroom without going too far.  All about balance!

Now I know we can all get carried away with overspending, cause let’s face it, we all have a dream bathroom in mind, right? Well, first things first. Set a budget and stick to it. If you have expensive taste, look for similar products that are a fraction of the price. You can still nail the overall aesthetic at a fraction of the cost.
