To help spread the festive cheer, Multipanel's head office organised its first-ever Christmas Shoe Box Challenge in December 2022, which was designed to support local communities experiencing deprivation or a high level of poverty.
This event was hosted in aid of Dignity Boxes, a charity that provides freely donated toiletries to people in need in and around Edinburgh.
Shoe boxes were filled with donation items such as shampoo and conditioner, shower gel and soap, as well as toothpaste and toothbrushes by the Multipanel head office. The filled boxes were then donated to the charity.
Staff members had the opportunity to decorate their own shoe boxes in a team of four, accompanied by mince pies and festive music.
Staff were encouraged to bring in shoe boxes and decorative items as well as toiletry items to be later used as donations.
The winning team was finally chosen by Grant Westfield's Managing Director, Sarah Law, and awarded a gift voucher for their creativity.
